At Butzel, we're proud of our Summer Associate program. It's our way of ensuring that our 170-year legacy as a top law firm continues. We're looking for law students who are driven to learn, grow, and one day carry on our tradition of excellence.
As a lawyer in today's world, you need more than just sound legal skills. You need to be business-savvy and a natural leader. That's why our program emphasizes interactive, experience-based learning. We focus on developing not just your legal skills, but also your business and leadership abilities.
As a Summer Associate at Butzel, you'll have the opportunity to:

We're now accepting applications for our 2025 Summer Program. If you're a 2L law student, we'd love to hear from you. Submit your resume and unofficial academic transcript to recruiting@butzel.com by July 26th, 2024. If you're attending a non-Michigan law school, we'll be holding interviews on August 2nd, 2024. If you're an in-state candidate, please work with your school to apply for our program.
