As Tom Ridge, the first Secretary of Homeland Security, famously said: "There are two kinds of companies – those that have been hacked and know it; and those that have been hacked and don't know it" – and that was before Target, Home Depot, Neiman Marcus, JP Morgan/Chase, Anthem, Sony and OPM. If such large companies are vulnerable, then so is yours, no matter what size. In that light, what steps can you take to mitigate the risk of a successful cyber attack on your company's network? The purpose of this presentation will be to present legal and other practical strategies for mitigating your company's liability in the event the network is penetrated. A Q&A will follow the presentation.
