GENERAL PURPOSE: Butzel is seeking standout candidates with portable books of business to join our growing team in Lansing, MI. Butzel has been in existence for 170 years and has helped shape the legal and business landscape of Michigan’s largest cities for over one-and-a-half centuries. Butzel is investing in its Lansing office and moving into brand-new, Class A, state-of-the art office space overlooking the Michigan Capitol in early 2024. We have added several new partners and attorneys in the past year and continue to grow this office. And we do so while we continue to grow our client base and to be at the forefront of some of the biggest cases and most important issues in the legal industry.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND/OR TRAINING:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited law school.
- Experience as a practicing attorney.
- A portable book of business.
- Admitted to practice law in the state of Michigan.
