Butzel Long attorney George B. Donnini featured during Society of Automotive Analysts program on October 26 in Southfield

DETROIT, Mich. – Butzel Long attorney George B. Donnini will participate in a panel presentation during a Society of Automotive Analysts (SAA) seminar on October 26, 2011 in Southfield. The program will address two topics: (1) the impact of “Mergers & Acquisitions” and (2) “Price Fixing & Collusion” in the automotive industry. Mr. Donnini will be a presenter on the second panel.
“In general, our panel will discuss the recent and ongoing federal investigation of the automotive supplier industry being conducted by the Department of Justice Antitrust Division as well as its impact on the automotive industry,” said Mr. Donnini. “We will also discuss how a company should respond to search warrants being executed at their premises and subpoenas being issued by federal (and other) regulators.”
Based in Butzel Long’s Detroit office, Mr. Donnini’s practice is focused on white-collar criminal defense, antitrust investigations, SEC enforcement actions and also routinely conducts corporate internal investigations. Prior to joining Butzel Long, Mr. Donnini served as a Judge Advocate for the United States Marine Corps from 1999 to 2003. Mr. Donnini also served as law clerk to The Honorable William H. Pauley III, United States District Court, S.D.N.Y., New York, New York from 1998 to 1999. Mr. Donnini is a 1995 phi beta kappa graduate of The George Washington University and a 1998 graduate of the Duke University School of Law. Mr. Donnini is admitted to practice in Michigan (2003), New York (1998) and California (2000).
