Butzel Long attorney featured during ABA’s Employment Rights & Responsibilities Committee Midwinter Meeting in Mexico
DETROIT, Mich. – Butzel Long attorney and shareholder Bernard (Bernie) J. Fuhs was a featured panelist during the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Employment Rights & Responsibilities Committee Midwinter Meeting March 22-25, 2017 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
The presentation was titled, “The Evolving Landscape for Trade Secrets, Non-Competes and Other Restrictive Covenants: Time They Are a Changin’.” The panelists discussed cutting-edge insights and practical advice on how to navigate the evolving legal landscape governing non-competes, non-solicits and new forms of restrictive covenants, as well as recent case law developments under The Defend Trade Secrets Act. The other panelists were The Honorable Bernice B. Donald of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and Elizabeth Pannill Fletcher, Ahmad, Zavitsanos, Anaipokos, Alavi & Mensing, P.C. – Houston, TX. The moderator was Donald S. Barth, Munich Reinsurance America, Princeton, N.J.
