DETROIT, Mich. – Businesses of all sizes are consistently challenged to adapt to changing U.S. Immigration Laws. The law firm of Butzel Long is hosting a seminar designed for everyone who deals with the complexities of an increasingly international business environment.
The theme for Butzel Long's seminar is "Business Immigration: In a Global Marketplace," which will take place on Friday, April 27, 2007 at the Troy Marriott at 200 West Big Beaver in Troy. The event begins with registration at 7:30 a.m., conference at 8:30 a.m. and concludes at 4:30 p.m. The registration fee of $100 includes continental breakfast, lunch, reception and seminar materials.
The program is designed to meet the needs of beginners as well as those with experience in immigration law. The Basic Track and Advanced Track are scheduled in the morning. The focus of the Basic Track will be requirements of common business classifications and procedures for obtaining lawful permanent residence. The Advanced Track will provide in-depth coverage of business immigration law. Following lunch, the General Session will focus on Employer Compliance, Port of Entry and Outbound Visas (for Canada, China and Mexico).
