DETROIT, Mich. – Butzel Long is proud to be the exclusive sponsor of the Welcome to Detroit reception during the National Black Law Students Association (NBLSA) 40th Annual National Convention & Anniversary Celebration March 26-30, 2008. The reception will take place on March 28 at the Roostertail.
More than 700 law students from across the country are expected to attend the convention. The theme of the conference is: "40 years of History: Ensuring Inseverability." Guest speakers at this year's convention include E. Christopher Johnson, Jr., Vice President and General Counsel, GM North America and Professor Charles J. Ogletree, Jr., Harvard School of Law.
In addition, Butzel Long attorney Eric M. Mathis will be featured during a panel presentation on March 29 sponsored by the National Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and the National Bar Association Law Students Division. The presentation is entitled, "Perspectives from the Practitioners: Selecting the Right Career Path." Mr. Mathis is Chair-Elect, National Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.
