The marijuana industry in Michigan will help shape the rules for the new adult-use cannabis market, set to launch by the end of this year.
The Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs wants to connect with stakeholders this March as it prepares to write the rules to govern the retail market for voter-approved recreational marijuana.
Regulators with LARA are seeking people to participate in four different group sessions at the end of March. One will be for businesses with medical marijuana licenses, one will be for municipalities, one will be for lawyers and another will be for any individual or business interested in adult-use marijuana.
