Real estate attorney joins Butzel Long
BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. – David W. Hipp, a real estate attorney, has joined Butzel Long as Counsel in the firm’s Bloomfield Hills office. His practice is focused on real estate and real estate finance, including loan originations for lenders, representation of borrowers, purchases and sales
of real estate, leasing, construction, and development.
Throughout his legal career, Hipp has represented banks and other lenders in all aspects of commercial real estate finance, including complex loans, syndications, construction financing and workouts. He has worked with institutional clients to develop form documents and procedures.
At the same time, Hipp has represented buyers and sellers in real estate sale and purchase transactions ranging from single family homes to multi-million dollar commercial properties such as hotels, apartment projects, and shopping centers. He has extensive experience negotiating and drafting commercial leases for both lessors and lessees.
