Our attorneys deliver a full range of services in single bank loan matters, as well as complex syndicated transactions. Butzel represents Fortune 500 companies, major insurance companies, banks, the financial subsidiaries of several major automotive corporations, and other institutional lenders in a wide variety of real estate finance transactions. In addition, we represent several major financial institutions as local or regional counsel in commercial lending and workout matters. Our attorneys are experienced in tax-deferred exchanges, sale/leaseback transactions, SBA-guaranteed loans, bond issues secured by real estate, as well as foreclosures, loan modifications and workouts.

  • Representation of lender in mortgage transactions in amounts from $150 million to $1,500 million, secured by "trophy" office buildings, hotels and industrial properties
