Overview
Prior to joining Butzel, Kevin was employed as a Human Resources professional in the public and private sectors where he conducted employee investigations, ensured compliance with employment laws, and engaged in labor relations with several unions, including contract negotiations, arbitrations, and grievances. His experience allows him to truly understand what clients need in labor and employment matters.
Kevin is an Associate practicing in Butzel’s Troy office. During law school, he served as an intern for Judge Christopher M. Murray of the Michigan Court of Appeals where he prepared research reports and bench memoranda for cases pending on appeal. He also served as an intern for Judge Terrence Berg of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan where he researched and drafted orders resolving a motion to strike and a motion for summary judgment.
Kevin received his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law where he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Detroit Mercy Law Review. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University in 2012, majoring in Philosophy and Russian.
When he’s not working, Kevin enjoys spending time in nature, gardening, and reading.
