The Election Law Practice Department at Butzel is committed to upholding the fundamental principles of democracy through our multifaceted approach to Election Law. Our attorneys collaboratively possess decades of experience counseling and representing clients such as candidates, elected officials, and a variety of office holders at all levels, including individuals serving on the boards of organizations and in positions within municipalities and in state and federal government. We also counsel and represent business entities, corporations, political action committees (PACs), special interest groups, and various nonprofits and trade associations on a variety of issues inherent to election laws and regulations. As a large firm with offices throughout Michigan and the US, we have experience providing clients with guidance at national and local levels throughout the country, including the Michigan Supreme Court.
